A stressed out newspaper journalist races against time during the weekend, to finish his article for a Monday deadline. As the story unfolds the journalist gets engrossed in his work and forgets that his wife, with the help of their local cable guys, has been planning a romantic weekend for him. Though the journalist finishes his work by next morning, but finds out that his wife has died in her sleep, and now regrets, realizing that no success is worth being obsessive about if in the end, one does not have a loved one to share it with. The film summarizes the philosophy that his wife once remarked about, saying that life is like a coin, we better know how to spend it.
